For the past few weeks I have been using the Graphite case from Griffin to protect my iPhone 3GS. Normally I prefer the naked look of the iPhone but this case was able to win me over. The Graphite features a 2-part slider back for the best protection offered by a hard case. It also has a very nice textured back in a carbon fiber “graphite” weave pattern. The face of the case features a hyper-black chrome trim that circulates around the borders and seam lines of the body. It leaves the top and bottom exposed so you can even leave the case on to remove the SIM card. All in all I was very happy with this case, it does have a little bit more bulk than I prefer, but its overall aesthetics are enough to over look that.
The Graphite case is available for the iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G at most apple retail stores as well as apple online and through Griffin.
Price: $34.99

Download this cheap app (Rowmote) for your iPhone or iPod Touch and enjoy the freedom of having a wireless mouse, keyboard, and remote for your Mac. I have this app installed on a few iPod Touch units and use them to control the Macs connected to my TVs and can control them from any room in my house.
Rowmote Pro adds a wireless touchpad and keyboard – complete with landscape mode, two finger scrolling and right clicking, dragging, accented / extended character support, and more – to the clean and powerful remote control of Rowmote!
Rowmote requires Mac OS X 10.4.0 or later or an Apple TV. The free Rowmote Helper program must be running on the system to be controlled; please see the special Apple TV instructions if needed. (Apple TV notes: The ‘Apps’ remote is for the Mac only, not for the Apple TV; the Rowmote Pro keyboard works in all Mac applications and currently in some third party Apple TV apps, such as Boxee).
Rowmote is a steal at $0.99. Couple it with Apple’s free Remote app to turn your iPhone or iPod Touch into the ultimate controller for home stereo, mobile presentation, or casual video viewing. Rowmote Pro is better than the competition and still less expensive at $4.99. Choose Rowmote Pro if you want complete control over your computer, or choose Rowmote if you want to emulate the Apple hardware remote on your device. Download today!
