Have a Mac with FrontRow? Now you can watch Netflix movies and Hulu directly from your computer using FrontRow. Download a free plugin called Understudy. You’ll also need to download and install Hulu’s free desktop program.
Understudy allows access to streaming video through the Front Row interface of Mac OS X. The user can subscribe to multiple feeds, and select a video to watch from them. Understudy currently supports Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, and to some degree the BBC iPlayer.

Steve Jobs will not be delivering Apple’s Keynote at the Macworld Expo this coming January. Apple also announced this will be its last year attending the Macworld tradeshow. This could be the end of an era. Apple is able to reach more customers these days without the need for the tradeshow. Full article on the subject can be found here.

Came across an alternative to Google Analytics and Urchin today. The product is called Mint (http://www.haveamint.com). “Mint is an extensible, self-hosted web site analytics program. Its interface is an exercise in simplicity. Visits, referrers, popular pages and searches can all be taken in at a glance on Mint’s flexible dashboard” (Source). The product costs $30 per site.
Not sure if many of you are aware of this, but IKEA (the Swedish furniture store) has a business development department in their retail stores. The department helps entrepreneurs develop business plans as well as offer small business advice and networking options. They also have a website with some valuable resources as well.
